Cartell feature across the media

Used Car History Check expert Cartell featured in the media this week. On Sunday an article in the Irish Sun (3 February) featured statistics provided by Cartell.ie concerning the age of the fleet in each of the respective counties in the Republic of Ireland. This was the first time that county-specific statistics were ever compiled on the national fleet.  Cartell featured again, in relation to this story, on the Matt Cooper Show on Today FM (5 February) where Cartell director Jeff Aherne had a lively interview with Matt and Today FM resident motoring analyst Anton Savage on the pitfalls associated with buying older vehicles.

On Tuesday (5 February) Cartell featured in the Irish Examiner concerning our exposé into the difficulties some buyers of imported vehicles are encountering in the marketplace. This included the difficulties associated with the hidden history of the vehicle in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland where – for instance – the vehicle may have been previously written off by an insurer.

On Wednesday (6 February) Cartell featured on Kildare FM where Legal Manager John P Byrne was given lots of coffee and asked to chat to Clem Ryan about Cartell’s Motor Insurance Anti Fraud and Theft Register – an innovative state-of-the-art database set up by the company in 2010 to track UK write offs in the Republic of Ireland. Thanks to everyone, in all those establishments, for receiving us so well and for allowing us to get the message out there – do a Cartell check before you buy!
