MAM VRM data now extended to Republic of Ireland
MAM Software today announced that its VRM lookup solution now supports Republic of Ireland vehicle registrations, providing quick and easy vehicle identification from directly within Autocat+
A feature of MAM’s comprehensive Autocat+ electronic catalogue, VRM helps identify and provide detailed specifications (make, model, cc, etc) associated with a particular vehicle. By providing accurate, comprehensive data, VRM lookup helps to ensure that the correct components are identified and also speeds up data entry.
“For motor factors, establishing and entering the correct vehicle information into a catalogue can be a time consuming process that is often prone to error” explained Mike Jamieson, MAM Software’s Managing Director. “Incorrect vehicle information increases returns or requires the shipment of alternative items (dual supply) to ensure the workshop receives the correct part for the job in hand. VRM lookup helps improve first-time-fit by providing accurate vehicle information to the catalogue”.
MAM’s VRM lookup is already popular in the UK and the extension of the service to Ireland is a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment and growing presence in Ireland, as Mike Jamieson explained, “MAM Software is committed to moving strongly into the Irish market, strengthening and supporting our existing Irish customers through our UK base and our Irish partners. This announcement is the latest in a series of developments we’ve undertaken to improve the suitability of our software for this unique market”.
VRM lookup is available now for users of MAM’s Autocat+ electronic catalogue. A range of subscriptions are available according to the number of lookups performed each month. For details of pricing, please contact MAM software on +44 870 766 7036.
